AI is central to Consularis: the product does not work without it. This page says what it does, which models we use, where they run, and what stays in human hands.

It runs the interviews

An AI asks each employee short questions, one at a time, in writing or out loud. When someone speaks, Azure AI Speech turns their voice into text and reads the questions aloud.

It builds the map

AI turns the interviews into a map of how the company works: each process step by step, with its documentation.

It writes the reports

AI writes the company-wide analysis and the campaign reports. In the company-wide analysis, the figures, such as time spent and how often work happens, are computed by code, not by AI.

It reads your documents

AI reads the documents you import, such as your procedures, and takes them into account alongside the interviews. Scanned pages go through a text-recognition (OCR) model.

It answers questions

Aurelius, the assistant, answers questions about your map and links to the right page. It cannot change the map.

What stays with people

The Consularis team checks the map and the company reports before your company sees them. Your team can edit every Process Map and its documentation.

Which models we use

Language models from Mistral AI, a French company: Mistral Medium 3.5 and Mistral Large 3, both open-weight, and Mistral OCR for scanned pages. For voice, Azure AI Speech (Microsoft) transcribes speech and reads the questions aloud. We use these models as they come: we don't train or fine-tune them. What Consularis builds is the interview method, the instructions the models follow, and the pipeline that merges every interview into one company-wide process model.

Where they run

The models run on Microsoft Azure AI Foundry inside the EU Data Zone, with data stored in France; voice is processed in France too. Microsoft runs the models itself, so Mistral AI never receives your data. Consularis is software as a service: there is nothing to install, and your data is hosted in Europe.

Your data never trains any AI model, ours or anyone else's. Our privacy notice lists every provider that processes your data.
